The Everyday Magic
Family session · Golden Gate Park · late summer
No occasion, no agenda — just a Saturday, a big sky, and a dad strong enough for double shoulder duty. Proof that ordinary afternoons photograph extraordinarily.
The session
The Vosses told me they had "nothing worth photographing" — then spent ninety minutes proving themselves wrong. Shoulder rides, grass stains, a deeply serious leaf collection, and a finale sprint to the ice-cream truck.
I barely posed a thing. My job was keeping up, keeping the light behind them, and knowing when to stop talking and just let the wind do its work.
