Newborn session · at home · spring
Ten days old, six pounds of brand-new. We spent a slow morning wherever the light fell — the crib, the couch, and mostly, her mother's chest.
The session
The brief was simple: nothing staged, nothing rushed. Baby June slept through the first hour, woke for exactly one feed, and gave us eleven minutes of wide-eyed wonder that became the family's favorite frames.
We worked with one north-facing window and the family's own linen — proof, again, that newborn sessions need almost nothing except time. Big sister, age three, appointed herself "blanket manager" and took the role very seriously.
